Astrology knows there is a cosmic principle for the beginning or birth (Aries) and a cosmic principle for disintegration, recycling, or death (Pisces).

The cosmos always manifest in this simple manner. That's why we have our Sun which represents the beginning of our local cosmos, (not symbolically but as the actual explosion that started the formation of it all). And in the other extreme, at the physical end of the system, we can find a bubble of energy. The Helioheath is where the Sun gets weak, his solar wind literally dies and our solar system starts to disintegrate and be permeable, letting cosmic rays from beyond our cosmos penetrate. A cosmic portal to the afterlife. This is how cosmos manifests the life and death of itself.

Although occidental astrology accepts new planets as they are discovered, they awkwardly add them to the previous ones guided principally by the names of these planets.

Names don't mean as much as astrologers think. They are given without real astrological thought by scientists or they we're a result of very little data recollected by our ancestors. From Mercury to Saturn, planets we're baptized with little knowledge of what they were. Astrologers have yet to discover their own dogmatic faith in the traditional order of planets as it was established millenniums ago without telescopes and calculations . And they have to come to terms with their fetishism of Greek gods names.

Of course Greek myths are very useful to illustrate most of astrology, but they must be considered as instruments, not the real thing. Actual planets are the real thing , and so to speak, the real pantheon of cosmic gods are precisely those enormous orbiting spheres.

It doesn't matter how you call the Sun, it will still have it's physical undeniable role in cosmos: as a beginner and a unstoppable energy, a creator, a pioneer, and a destructor, all symptoms of Aries.

We have reached a critical point in which a total revision of the logic of our cosmos is needed, if we really want to get the cosmos right as astrologers.
